Ostarine, also called MK-2866 or Enobosarm, is probably the most studied compound in the SARM class. It has been through multiple Phase II clinical trials -- an unusual distinction for a research SARM -- which means there's more human pharmacokinetic data available for it than for most compounds in this category. The clinical trials were primarily focused on muscle wasting in cancer patients and elderly populations, where preserving lean mass without the androgenic side effects of testosterone is genuinely useful.
