What are the proposed mechanisms of BPC-157's effects?

It upregulates VEGF expression and promotes angiogenesis, which supports tissue remodeling across different tissue types. It activates the FAK-paxillin pathway involved in cell migration. It has documented effects on neurotransmitter systems (dopamine, serotonin) that may explain some of its behavioral effects in animal models.
