Remove protective cap
Twist off the cap to expose the pen cartridge tip.
Attach 31G pen needle
Screw on a sterile 31G needle (5mm). Included with pen.
Dial research dose
Turn the dose selector to the desired number of units.
Inject subcutaneously
Insert at 90° into abdomen or thigh. Hold 10 seconds.
Remove needle & store
Withdraw, remove needle safely. Refrigerate at 2–8°C.

Hold & remove
Hold for 10 seconds, then withdraw. Recap and refrigerate
