What Is Epithalon?
Epithalon (also spelled Epitalon) is a synthetic tetrapeptide (Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly) based on the natural epithalamin peptide produced by the pineal gland. It is the most-studied peptide in telomere biology, with published research by Professor Vladimir Khavinson demonstrating its ability to activate telomerase — the enzyme that maintains telomere length, a key biomarker of cellular aging.
