What Is ARA-290?
ARA-290 is an 11-amino-acid peptide derived from erythropoietin (EPO) that selectively activates the innate repair receptor (IRR) — a heteromer of the EPO receptor and the IL-3 receptor beta common chain. Unlike EPO itself, ARA-290 does not stimulate red blood cell production, making it a tissue-protective compound without erythropoietic effects.
