Adipose-endpoint research splits between compounds studied for lipolysis directly and compounds studied for broader metabolic regulation, and includes a small number of genuine human trials in specific clinical populations. Reading both hubs is the fastest way to see which questions the literature can actually answer and which remain open.
Frequently asked questions
Are any of these approved for human use?
Almost all are unapproved research chemicals, supplied for laboratory research use only and not for human or animal consumption. One exception is worth stating plainly: tesamorelin is an approved medicine (Egrifta) for HIV-associated lipodystrophy specifically, and its labelling states it is not indicated for weight-loss management. Where any compound here has been studied in humans, that research ran under clinical trial conditions in a defined patient population and does not transfer to general use.

By the presence of published, peer-reviewed literature against the relevant endpoint, restricted to compounds we actually supply so that the certificate of analysis for each is publicly verifiable. Compounds with no meaningful published literature are not listed simply to lengthen the page.
