Bioregulator peptides are chains of two to four amino acids, described in the work of Vladimir Khavinson's group, which studied how they relate to tissue-specific gene expression in cell and animal models. Pinealon is the tripeptide Glu-Asp-Arg (EDR), studied in neuronal and pineal-tissue models.
