Melanocortin research peptides
Peptides studied at melanocortin receptors in laboratory models: research reagents, not cosmetic or tanning products. For research purposes only.
Melanocortin research looks at the five melanocortin receptors (MC1R to MC5R) and the peptides that bind them. MT-1 is a linear analogue of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (alpha-MSH). MT-2 is a cyclic alpha-MSH analogue, and PT-141 is a cyclic heptapeptide derived from it. Typical models are receptor-binding, cAMP-signalling and receptor-selectivity assays.
Product pages show a class-level specification where one is on record, the vial size and the storage printed on the label. Selected lots have an independent Janoshik report: the product page links its certificate, and /verify finds a lot by its lot or report code. For research purposes only.
